I AM CHUBBY

I am 34 year old stay-at-home mom of 4 children. I spent 4 years essentially pregnant and never really got rid of the baby weight. I can no longer blame it on the pregnancy when my youngest (twins) are 8 years old. It's time to take control and begin to live my life and not just be a spectator.

I am new to spark people I live in cache valley and turned 50 in december. boy was that tough I have carried extra weight for the last 30 years. I have tried almost every diet out there. Stress seams to stall my goals, and I live with lots of stress. I am hopeful this forum will help me to stay motivated and acheive my goals

Hey Nik-
I enjoyed reading your blog...Wow a 5K is great. And all by yourself without someone to help you set pace? Good for you! I served in the military for 8 years and one thing I can say with absolute surety is I hate running. Well, let's be honest with ourselves, I just hate exercise, but I do like living, so I'm working on the exercise thing. I live in West Jordan, not far from you. Wanna get together for a walk sometime?
