Healthy in 2016

I am a returning member. I joined years ago but didn't really stick with it. Now I'm back with more weight to lose. I struggle with my belly fat and finding time to keep up with exercise and diet between work, chasing after 2 active boys and their sports, and just life. But I need to do better. My boys started getting into running this year, and I want to be able to run a 5K with them without stopping to walk.

My Goals:
I want to reach my goal weight before my 40th birthday. I want to fit into size 6 jeans and feel confident in my skin.

My Program:
Cutting back on carbs and sugar, adding more veggies, protein and healthy fats.

I need to get back to working out consistently. I had a great program but in the last 6 months really fell out of the habit.

Hey! Thanks for stopping by my blog. You know, I think my BODY thinks it needs fuel when I'm very tired and so the thing it craves is carbs. And you're right. Not only does it NOT work that way, it slows you down even more. I keep asking myself why I'm so surprised when I find that happening again for some reason. Takes me a long time, sometimes, to incorporate new knowledge! (rolls eyes...) Good luck with your little one. How well I remember those days! Oh! And welcome to SP, btw.
