Getting healthy for my baby..
I've been a yo-yo dieter for years!! I've wasted so much money on programs and equipment and stuff I can't even remember anymore.. And I failed every time. Not something I'm proud of... I had a baby girl 9-7-09 and used my maternity leave as a jump start toward success.. Something feels different this time. I feel as I have already succeeded in some way even though I've only lost few pounds. I have new found motivation. I have seen results though not always on the scale. ...
I've been a yo-yo dieter for years!! I've wasted so much money on programs and equipment and stuff I can't even remember anymore.. And I failed every time. Not something I'm proud of... I had a baby girl 9-7-09 and used my maternity leave as a jump start toward success.. Something feels different this time. I feel as I have already succeeded in some way even though I've only lost few pounds. I have new found motivation. I have seen results though not always on the scale. I'm hoping this time I will truly change my lifestyle for good so I can provide the absolute best life for my daughter and be the best mom I can be for her... 2/2/11-UPDATE: I have been the most successful than I have ever been!! I've lost over 40lbs.. I still have a few more before I hit goal but I'm loving my progress so far. My daughter has really taken to fruits/vegetables, (most of them anyway) and healthy eating and I'm proud I've already instilled that in her. We love to dance and I want us to keep active as a way of life, not as a temporary thing. My husband has even been paying more attention to what he eats..that's a miracle in itself!!

My Goals:
-Reach a healthy weight for me -Move my BMI out of the obese range! -Gain some muscle definition -Inspire others to get on board with me -Be more accomplished in life -Run 13.1 (planning for June 2011!!) Right now my goal is 150. Of course the number is only a small part. To me, looking good and feeling good are much more important.
My Program:
-Staying in my sparkpeople calorie range -Running 3-5x/wk -P90X -Chalean Extreme -Free weights My program frequently varies...my life can get pretty hectic so I adjust accordingly!!
