Starting again
On January 7, 2008 I weighed 298 lbs. I made a commitment to change my life and so I started eating better and trying to exercise. I ended up losing a total of 97 lbs, with my lowest weight being December 23, 2008 when I weighed 200.8 lbs. Then I floundered a little and was back up to 207 by April of 2009 when the most wonderful thing happened... I GOT PREGNANT!! So obviously, the weight loss came to a halt. I managed to gain 34 lbs over the course of my pregnancy and had lost 32 of it within ...

I ended up losing a total of 97 lbs, with my lowest weight being December 23, 2008 when I weighed 200.8 lbs. Then I floundered a little and was back up to 207 by April of 2009 when the most wonderful thing happened... I GOT PREGNANT!! So obviously, the weight loss came to a halt. I managed to gain 34 lbs over the course of my pregnancy and had lost 32 of it within just a few weeks of having my son! I have managed to gain just about every pound back and now weigh about what I did on the day I delivered my son. I'm so angry with myself but I need to channel that anger into progress. I don't want to be fat anymore. So here I am, back at Spark, looking to finish what I started over 2 years ago. I was voted a Sparkpeople Motivator in 2008 and now I feel like a big, fat, disappointment. I had gotten to the point where I was only about 60 lbs from my goal weight and now I found myself 100 lbs away.
