I am 33 years old and the proud mother of a four year-old princess. Both my husband and I are trying to get back to our "fighting weight"! I am 33 years old and the proud mother of a four year-old princess. Both my husband and I are trying to get back to our "fighting weight"! I was 1 pound away from goal when we decided to have another baby. After, the holidays and a misacarriage at 8 weeks I am now up 12 pounds from my initial goal weight. It's time for me to get back on the saddle. Easter weekend 2010 I made the decision to make a commitment to SparkPeople and lose the baby weight for good. My daughter was almost 15 months old and I kept using the excuse that I just had a baby. After my sister in law introduced me to SparkPeople I became obsessed and started tracking EVERYTHING that I ate, including the tiny 3 calorie mustard packet on my sandwich. After just a few weeks I started losing weight and was really getting pumped. My husband noticed how well I was doing and he joined SparkPeople as well. Before I knew it, I reached goal number 1 of getting back into my pre-pregnancy clothes. I was having so much success and lost weight in about 5 months that I changed my goal weight to 10 lbs lighter. I wanted to be 10 lbs lighter when I got married and never reached that goal.... actually I only lost 1 pound. This time I was going to do it!
