Back for Round 2. Hoping for a Knockout

***UPDATE - Feb 16, 2013***
I have been at this weight loss journey for 9 months and have lost more weight than I ever had before. These 54 pounds feel like a 100 to me. It has freed me from so many health issues, given me more confidence and also made me EXTREMELY tired! I am trying to keep the momentum but with working a second job and preparing for my upcoming wedding, I am exhausted. I originally had a goal of 180 lbs (92 lbs loss) but at 218 I am comfortable with losing 20-25 more pounds and moving into maintenance. I hope to be at that maintenance point by my birthday of July 4th. Wish me luck!

**UPDATE - Oct 21, 2012***
It has been exactly five months since I got my spark back and jumped back on the weight loss rollercoaster. In these five months I have went from a 22W to a 14W and have lost 38 pounds. I have ran a race every month since July and I can now run 4 miles without stopping. I have finished my longest race, a 5-miler in 1:05:38. I am proud of that. Currently I am experiencing a three week plateau of no weight loss. I am disappointed but I am encouraged knowing that I still feel the spark inside. I am going to re-evaluate my current plan, switch up my routine and get tighter on my nutrition.

May 21, 2012
This is my second go around with Sparkpeople. The first time around I lost almost 50 pounds and gained a ton of confidence. Unfortunately I got comfortable and some issues from my past pushed me back to a place I didn't want to be. Food tagged along. I have worked through most of those issues and want to gain my confidence back for the second and hopefully last time. I turned 29 years old July 4th, 2012 and I intend to go into my 30's fit, fun, flirty, and fabulous!

Ghee is clarified butter, so it has no casein or whey in it, it is just the oils in the butter so dairy free!

Thanks for the feed back on the Luna bars...I am going to go back and buy the lemon zest today and vanilla almond, I should have followed my 1st mind and got them last night but I didn't just in case I didn't like them. I will let you know how I like them...I am looking forward to eating mine today (fat girl moment), lol.

I use ground turkey meat (93/7) (season it with taco seasoning as you would normally do after it is cooked, it comes in the pack like ground meat (beef). I also make my own tortilla shells...well I buy a low calorie tortilla (wheat) and spray a little Pam over the outer bottom of a bowl and lay the tortilla over the bowl and bake it in the oven on abt 350 for 10 mins until it "crisps up". I fill it with the normal, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese (fat free or reduced fat cheddar) , salsa and what ever else you want. I have developed a tasted for beans so sometimes I have a serving or 1/2 serving of Bush's Pinto Beans or I make my own spanish rice using brown rice a little taco seasoning mix and salsa or diced tomatoes. emoticon

Goat curry is amazing! (If you like the taste of goat, which I do.) The first time I had it was like this: http://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/jamai
can_goat_curry/

and since then I've had it Indian Vindaloo style
