Walking to Hiking
I continue on my journey of trying to get healthy and fit mentally, emotionally and spiritually!! I have been mostly on a mental and spiritual journey. As of now i've been on this program for about 3 months. I started with no exercise whatsoever to walking atleast 10 miles per week. I try to walk 60 mins every other day. I'm looking into the senior center and the activities they have. maybe other kind of physical activities would be good. This way I won't get bored. I love to read so I ...

As of now i've been on this program for about 3 months. I started with no exercise whatsoever to walking atleast 10 miles per week. I try to walk 60 mins every other day. I'm looking into the senior center and the activities they have. maybe other kind of physical activities would be good. This way I won't get bored. I love to read so I chek out books at the local library. As for spirtitually I use my time walking to meditate on the Lord and find where I am at both physically and mentally. I usually take my cues from what I feel spiritually . You know from God. He is the one who has kept me together. I praise Him for that!! My favorite verses from the Bible are : Psalm 23: 1 The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want, and John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him : should not perish, but have everlasting life.

My Goals:
My first goal now is to make sure I commit myself to the things that are most important to me. Such as have a more active prayer life. keep active by exercising. Try to eat more veggies and fruits.

I like thge program that sparks outlined for me. I think I'll stick to it.
Personal Information:
My nameis Nikki Moreno. I live in Greeley Colorado. I have lived in this town most of my life. I think it is truly Gods country as they say. I have 3 adult children . In turn they have given me 6 grandchildren and now my grandchildren have given me 5 great grandchildren. I am truly blessed !!!We are a close knit family as we keep in touch every week.
Other Information:
I love to read. Most of the books I read are placed in the 1800's when America 's west was first getting settled...My favorite verse is : Psalm 23, Through everything He has been my shepherd. I really haven't wanted for anything. He has led me through the dark timnes and brought me to His light. Praise God for everything He has done for me.
