Healthy Living = A Beautiful Life

Hello all! In 2008 I was doing very well with my healthy living and I lost 30 pounds. By making simple, logical changes in my diet.
In July '08 everything went down hill & I didn't continue to my goal weight & I even gained a little back.

My Goals:
Most importantly I want to live a happy healthy life.

~Run at least three more 5K races in 2010

~Run the U of M 10K in October '10

~Some day run a marathon....We will see....lol

My Program:
Currently as of July '10, I am running for cardio training for my 10K in October.

I also plan on cross training on alternating days & weight training as well to develop some muscle tone.

Personal Information:
I graduated from ITT Tech in 2006 with my associates degree in applied science. I currently am a computer aided draftsman for a commercial roofing company. I basically draw their blueprints among a zillion other things. I enjoy gardening (when I have the time...), excercising (espcially spinning class), and making new friends.

Gosh... I am really blowing up your wall!!!

Thanks for watching my vlog. That's a really good idea about incorporating the runs into a circuit. That would work really well for speedwork runs, since you're supposed to do active recovery in between intervals. Thanks for the idea :)

Hey!

The book's "master recipe" calls for a mixture of AP flour and Whole Wheat. There's a ton of variations, and the other's I've tried were 100% Whole Wheat and Rye. I've been dying to test out their breads that have fruit and veggies in them, and there's even some with brown rice or quinoa as a base. It's awesome, still lovin this book :)
