Time to update!!!!

A bit about me: I have several jobs, as the market where I live is very slow, like many are!! I first and foremost am a Mom...my favorite job!! I have 3 grown kids..but they will always be my kids no matter how old they are!

I own a small custom bakery, which is across the street from my home. I specialize in wedding and celebration cakes and you can often see a picture of one posted on my blog!


Then comes the horse show announcing..I do this mostly for fun..I grew up with horses, my daughter showed for years and we had quarter horses, and I have one of those voices, so there you have it!!!

I had a knee replacement with major complications, and its been a long haul coming back. It will never be fully ok, but we do with what we are dealt, right?

I have several goals for this fall till the new year...to lose 30 pounds, and walk increasingly farther. At this point i'm up to 10 thousand steps a day..spproximately 5 miles.

I won't give up!!!

I'm on the fall 5% team...i will be doing beach body 21 day fix daily, swimming till i have to close the pool, and walking.

My Goals:
exercise: shooting for 120 mins a day. EVERY DAY.
Add weights 4 days a week along with the cardio and toning. At this point i was only doing them 3 days a week.
Work on making food LOW priority instead of thinking about it constantly.


My Program:
I do beachbody 21 day fix, hiphop abs, leslie sansone videos, and i walk. walk. and walk some more!

I am first and foremost a Mom. My 3 grown kids are so important to me!
I have 2 cats, my Newfoundland, Lucy--light of my life besides my kids!! She keeps me sane...
I have several jobs: I own and operate a bakery, I'm a horse show announcer. I am involved with my alma mater on the alumni board of directors.


Other Information:
I love all things Harry Potter, am a proud DHOH for Hufflepuff House on our team here.
I love to read.. Love movies, Classic Rock and a little (very little) Country for music.
I love to swim and hike, love the snow, hate hot weather unless i'm near water i can BE IN.

    It takes some playing with and if you can get Cauliflower on sale you are set. I really don't miss the potatoes all that much. My issues would be making sure my meals feel like meals, at least at dinner. I got tired of a protein & broccoli. You will be surprised just what has carbs. I am basically getting my carbs from veggies only so I am pretty limited & my Dr. has me down to less than 30 with less than 20 coming up at my next appointment I am sure!! I am taking a Brussels Sprouts dish and possibly a cauliflower dish that way it will be all meat & veggies. I am going to remake my cake & add pumpkin to it so that I can have some desert if I want it. I don't eat it any more and really don't crave that sugar at all. Just keep in mind, mine is a life style... I plan to always eat this way, if you plan to just eat to lose weight then go back to it all weight gain will happen and your body will be miserable until it adjusts again lol. I love how much they lost & so quick!! I can't wait to hit really big numbers!

    I missed the blog comment!! Keto is so much easier than I expected!! it doesn't have to be boring, definitely check out Pinterest!! You can do quite a bit with Almond & Coconut Flour. I can't eat the same thing all the time so I have to mix things up! I have also found that I am no where near as hungry as I used to be which leads me to eating much less! Make sure you get in your fats!! bacon for breakfast or a snack. And do full fat items, not lowfat, nonfat or lite, they are all much higher in carb count because of added sugars!! I totally love this and now that I am 2 months into it I don't hesitate to order just meat & a salad for a meal out. It is much easier than I ever fathomed!
