Nightlilly's Task

Pretty new here and brand new to the SparkPage [although I've been sneaking around this site for EONS!]. I've gained 20 lbs. since 2007 and I've slowed my exercise almost to a halt. Anyone w. any ideas on building up my exercise routine, please tell! I'm also in the middle of putting together an online vintage biz AND trying to quit smoking! Four main goals for the year 2015 and I CAN DO THEM! Warmly, Lea aka NightLilly

Thanks, Shari. It's nice to know. And, Pixie, I had a great weekend. I found since going back on this SP way-of-life just 8 days ago, I've lost 5 lbs.! Now if I can only get myself motivated to exercise! One baby step at a time!

Good luck with your week. I don't know where you are, but here in Western Mass we're expecting a LOAD of snow. That's alright. There's always indoor exercise!

It IS!! Thank you and thank you for the awesome you put in my day. Your hilariously sweet video was the first thing on my screen this a.m. THEN, I walked out to my mailbox and voila! The Spark Solution. Wish I'd known about the extras before I ordered from Amazon.

Been a "stalker" on SP since 2008, I think. Let me explain: I have half-heartedly tried, it takes me forever to type what I've eaten and done [I had a stroke years ago --- fully functional person but my hand is slow] and when I thought I had joined a group, I hadn't, or I'd ask a question and nobody would answer. A week here and there over the years made me feel terrible and anxious and I KNOW that's not what SP is all about. I get all the exercise and recipe reminders in my inbox and I just kinda surf all over Sparkpeople not knowing WHAT I'm doing. Oh well!

The Book! It looks fantastic. I lost 60 lbs. and although I gained 10 back, I think that's okay. It's all the pudge, and the not exercising, not fitting into a lot of my clothes, and portion control. Wish me luck. I really just want to firm up, maybe lose a few pounds by July 4th. That's my daughter's wedding and I don't want to be the frumpy old MOB [mother of the bride!].

Anyway, you made my day! And give me courage to try this. Here goes!
