Still at it!!

I've been on SparkPeople for a couple years now. It's been a crazy ride...up and down and back and forth!
Throughout 2008 and 2009, I lost a total of 45lb, although many ups and downs through it all!! Then in September of 2009 my Dad passed away and I let myself go. Began smoking again and to this point (April 2010), Iíve put back on close to 35 lbs. But Iím slowly picking myself back up! Stopped smoking Feb. 17th! Stepped on the scale this morning for the first time in MANY months and ...

Stepped on the scale this morning for the first time in MANY months and was only surprised I hadnít done more damage! I was actually expecting the number to be much higher! So Iím at a good place to get back on the ride!!
The most important thing I have learned through these last couple years of struggling to lose weight is to HAVE PATIENCE!! Weight loss is such a long, slow journey...with a single lb here and a single lb there....its really hard at times to stay in the game!!! But its so worth it all to see & FEEL the changes in yourself...both physically and psychologically!

~Don't deprive myself of things I want!
~Eat SMART with moderation!!
~Be ACCOUNTABLE!!
~Drink lots of water!
~At least 30 minutes a day of anything besides sitting!!!
~I LOVE walking!!! I have become addicted to Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds workouts!!!

great job girl keep it up!! each # lost just motivates you to continue!! would love to see bust through you other goal and post some pix but i do love dory she is so funny, if only we could just go through life like she does :-)
