Thanks for stopping by my page and asking about Door to Door Organics. This week was week #2 for me and I'm still enjoying it. Funny story: my initial order had 2 bananas listed, but I got 10 bananas this week (at no extra charge). I like this box because I get a chance of trying new foods (like purple potatoes this week!) and because it's all organic, the food tends to last longer. I also like that I can substitute food out if I just *DON'T* like something (DH & I can't stand celery) and we can chose something else. I started out by making a goal plan. I decided that I'm going to exercise 40-60 minutes a day each week. So, on my monthly calendar, I wrote in exactly what days I will be doing what (I have set days that I do my boxing/kickboxing classes). I also have a goal of active rest, so on the days i'm not at my boxing classes, I will be doing a 20 min HIIT followed by a 20 minute steady state cardio session. I also noted on my calendar any special days coming up (particularly birthdays) to ensure that I budget my "cheat" meals appropriately.
For food plan, i basically have the same breakfast routine (either eggs or oatmeal) so I just rotate that every other week. For hot meals, I tend to batch cook. So, I'm using just one cookbook and batch cooking at least 3 dishes a week. I wrote out exactly what dishes they will be. I am eating hot meals at lunch since i'm keeping it simple and low carb after 3pm. So, my dinners are going to rotate between grilled chicken or fish (most likely salmon) & some dark green veggie on the side. For the snacks, I just listed out a couple staple items I tend to gravitate towards or foods that I have at the house that need to be eaten.
