I have been dieting scince the new year.
My goal weight it 130 pounds, and i'm trying to get there before 2009! Last year I was in a severe car accident and fractured 4 vertabreas in my back. I was on bedrest and wore a brace for 3 months. Undoubtfully, I went from about 150/160 to 185. From there I got out of my backbrace and lost some weight , gained, lost, ongoing cycle.
I'm looking to lose the weight FOREVER!
I'm looking for a buddy to lose weight with.
I love to make friends.
Starting SparkPeople, i'm 5'7 175 pounds.
My lifetime dream is to be a Scuba Diver, swim with dolphins, and explore the coral reef!

As of August 21st i'm officially back dieting and exercising. I Lost interest AGAIN, as I often do.


My list of fears
1. Never wearing a two piece AGAIN!
2. Get passed a size 16.
3. Not fitting in a size 10.
4. Never getting into my old clothes.
5. Getting a disease dealing with my weight.
6. Never feeling good about myself.
7. Feeling everybody staring at me at all times.
8. Being embarressed my whole life.
9. Watching my babies grow up overweight because their mom was.
10. Not playing with my kids because im overweight.
11. Reaching 30 on BMI scale.

My List of Wants

1. To feel sexy.
2. To love my body in a bikini
3. To fit in a 5/7 jeans
4. To make a lifestyle change
5. Be healthy.

    Wow, thanks for the supportive comments. I am so glad you are here, aside from the accident I can totally relate. Your list of fears and desires... I am right there with you. I started out 5'6 and 175 on April 15, 2008. I have used the tools on this site to make all these awesome changes in my life, my habits and my outlook. I dont hate me anymore, I feel good inside, I dont worry about people staring at how fat I am. me me me,sorry its just that I feel ~singing my life with your words~ You can totally do this too. You will do this cuz you are ready, you are here and SP will help you do it right. Track your nutrition, even on naughty days so you can look back and see how it affected you, write notes to remember how you felt when you did good or not. Track your fitness, find just one thing you like to do and start small. Then add a tiny bit more and a tiny bit more and before you know it you will be amazed at what you never knew you were capable of! I wish you all the success you can find and would love to be here for you along the way!
