Maintenance As A Long-Term Goal
After many, many years of avoiding the scale and deluding myself, I have at long last attained an all-time low weight goal. Finally realized portion control pertains to ME. I'm no longer terrorized by the scale. I hold myself accountable. I'm living the Spark lifestyle!

My Goals:
My long-term goal is to embrace portion control so that I no longer need to shed that same 20-30 pounds ever again. My wish is to stop fearing hunger. I've been eating huge portions IN CASE I might get hungry later. My short-term goal
My Program:
I joined WW in January,2011 and soon learned that 18-25 PP+ was a better range than the 29PP+ recommended for me. I count points for most fruits. WW is helping me tremendously in learning portion control. I don't crave junk food. I drink plenty of water and exercise about 6 days per week, one exercise day being devoted to yoga practice. As of August, I've totally switched over to tracking calories and nutrients here at Spark and never been happier. It makes more sense to me to count calories.
Personal Information:
I live in Los Angeles, California. I have two grown children and a very supportive husband AND a beloved dog, Stanley.
Other Information:
I have always enjoyed exercise and the outdoors. What I HATED, however, was anything real aerobic. At62 years old, guess what? I have come to LOVE jumping around like a crazy person! Go figure. I look forward to my step and aerobic DVD days and have even started running on my new treadmill instead of walking! Life is good! It is proof positive that we are always in the process of becoming--------what we become, though, is up to us. I love that. I CHOOSE to be healthy and fit. I am BECOMING a slim, fit person.
