Changing My Lifestyle
I gained even more weight than I had thought in my last year at college. I was student teaching, which left me very stressed and caring very little about what foods I ate. Also because of the stress, I started eating MORE to comfort myself. That year, I gained BACK the 20 pounds that I had lost the year before AND even more. I gained even more weight than I had thought in my last year at college. I was student teaching, which left me very stressed and caring very little about what foods I ate. Also because of the stress, I started eating MORE to comfort myself. That year, I gained BACK the 20 pounds that I had lost the year before AND even more. I want to lose this college weight to feel better about myself, lessen the strain my weight puts on my joints (like my back and knees), and get thinner for when I get married sometime in the not-too-distant future! I told my boyfriend that I want to be at a happy weight when I get married. Working back from there, I don't want to be engaged for more than a year, and I don't want to add to the stress of that year by having to lose a lot of weight, so essentially I want to lose most of the weight (at least 70lbs) before I want him to propose! So right now that's my long-term motivation.

My Program:
Exercise once, if not twice, a day at least 6 times a week using my elliptical, treadmill, and exercise dvds Make better food choices. Count calories. Remember not to let the desire for food cloud the desire to lose weight.
Personal Information:
I just graduated college and am a certified music teacher in both PA and NJ. Though I don't have a full-time teaching job, I am actively searching for one while teaching private lessons in my area. I gained a lot of weight in college, my senior year especially, and I really want to get back to at least what I weighed in high school (170s).
Other Information:
One of my troubles with exercising is that I can't do anything high-impact because of my large bust and sensitive joints. Thankfully my parents and I got an elliptical for a cheap price off of ebay, so I can do that. I've also learned/figured out ways to modify high-impact exercises (like jumping jacks) so that I can keep moving without straining my joints.
