You are a far nicer person then I am. If a doctor had made comments to me such as the ones made to you, one of us wouldn't have been walking out of that room! How rude can doctors possibly be?! It sounds like your migraines are pretty rough. Mine, when they get bad enough, cause me to be physically ill. I will throw up every time I move. Lights bother me and I have issues with noise when I have a migraine. You know that feeling your skin gets when someone drags their fingers on a chalk board? My entire body will feel like that times 10! I'm pretty sure you can't "just work through it" as one doctor suggested to you. For my migraines I take Amitriptyln and Maxalt. The Amitriptyln is to control them and the Maxalt is for an attack. I am going to have to see if either cause heart issues. I guess I've never really thought about the side effects of any drugs before! Good luck with everything! 2555 days ago
NOTE: This person STOLE another Spark's pictures and text... see her comment and check out HER page:
"Take my picture down and remove the text you stole from my spark page and others' spark pages, I recognized the side columns from some of my spark friends pages. I do not understand why you would steal these things and use my picture as your own. It's creepy, please stop now. Also I am reporting you to the site administrators for theft and harassment." Welcome to the Swimming for Cardio team! Congratulations on making the committment to better your health. Getting all of your hormones in line and getting your insulin resistance under control are really important, so I applaud you on taking this path. Since you are a reader, you might enjoy the site lef.org, then look under health concerns or research. They have a wealth of information.
I have pretty serious autoimmune issues as well as chemical imbalance issues, so I understand your plight. I have to constantly work at being in balance and it can be a real struggle. Add to that the weight that you'll need to work off and you've got a difficult road to travel. Just remember that we're here to help you on this journey. I think it's a huge help to know you are not alone.
Welcome to Swimming for Cardio. Hello fellow BC er, Our team has a lot of information on our forum, so please join our forum. I use a H20 MP3 while swimming, I listen to motivating music and makes it less boring. If you need any information on them, message me. 2567 days ago
