I started out in 2006 at 400 pounds and hating my life. I have lost over 100lbs and I need to lose another 120 to get to my goal of 170. I want to be skinnier than my little brother for once in my life!
I am following the weight watchers program with points and daily food journals. Right now, I am working at the fitness center across the street on the elliptical machine and I am also doing commerical exercises. This is where when you are watching tv and a commercial comes on you have to do exercises. I increase my elliptical time and add one more commercial exercise everyday.

I have wanted to run a 5k for a long time.... last fall when my husband joined the gym with me finally my goal was to run in a 5k in a neighboring town to me. Well, I had slacked off till january then last week when I was having a rough time I read another member's blog about running and being obese, so I got motivated again! So we will see how I do - maybe I will even enter the 5k in April even if I can't run it all yet! the couch25k group has some good info
