No more bad habits

12.28.15: I'm ready to finally get back to my goal weight (which I had actually achieved!) in 2015. I will traveling to Tokyo in fall 2015 so my goal is to be in shape by early summer '15 and begin maintenance before the big trip. I have lots of social support and will be using SP every day.

I've struggled with my relationship with food, self perception, and self esteem for as long as I can remember. I was a chubby child from the age of about 7 until I hit 16. When I was 16, I developed a serious jaw issue that made me feel sick to me stomach constantly so eating was typically not a priority. As a result, over the summer between my freshman and sophomore year of high school, I lost 30 pounds. By the end of that year, I had lost 20 more.

All of the compliments and attention were amazing and made me feel fantastic but eventually I started obsessing and turned to starvation diets and diet pills to keep my weight down. At the time, I was about 135-140 pounds but I thought I was huge!
Over the next few years I maintained my weight around 145-155. Late in 2010/early 2011, I stopped caring all together. Getting on a scale in April 2011 and seeing the number '165' pop up was the kick in the butt that I needed.

In summer 2011, I started working out and eating right and felt awesome about myself for the first time in a long while. I used SP's resources and went from 165 to 140 in 3 months!

1/2013:After several stops/starts, I am rededicating some energy to weight loss again. I have regained some weight but if I follow through and keep my goals in mind, I will be able to reach my goal weight by May 2013.

My Program:
1. Do cardio 4-5 days a week, at least 30 minutes each

2. Do strength training 2-4 times a week,30 minutes

3. Do flexibility 1-2 times a week, 30 minutes each

3. Eat between 1300-1600 calories per day

4. Reduce the amount of sugar and processed foods eaten.

5. Drink at least 100 ounces of water every day

6. Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep each night.

7. Track all food every day on SP.

actually I have given up Ben n Jerry's except for very special occasions...and they have to be REAL special. I have found skinny cow single serve cups are awesome! They taste like real ice cream too!!! The weight watchers ice cream is good too

Hey! Thanks for the comment and suggestions on my blog! I have been trying to mess around with my hair, attempting to come up with more "grown up" looks. I suppose ultimately I am just going to have to accept my baby face and move on. :P :)
