Thank you for your comment on my birthday blog. I will sort it out. I especially appreciated your perspective about work life balance. I think all too often I miss that integral piece. Thank you as always for all your support!

I have a 16 oz cup that I usually use for water, but I was in such a funk, depression was really holding me down and I asked DH what to do and he said change everything. So, I went back to an 8 oz cup and the bands, that's a change there. We really have changed up a lot of things at our house and in my routine and I do feel a bit better, coming out of the fog as they say. Sometimes we just need something different I guess. Instead of using the hair bands I ended up using bead bracelets, they are pretty and give a lift while being functional. The hair bands were too tight on my wrist, thought my hand was going to fall off.

Hope your day is bright and sunny and not too hot!

That's sad about the baby skunks, but so funny about the drunk as a skunk. We don't have any mulberries around here that I know of. Lots of other fruits though. I know that cats have the same type of reaction to spider plants. We had a cat that was high off of one of our spider plants. She was just a kitten and indoor and got into the spider plant and her eyes literally looked like those cartoons you see where the eyes are going in circles. Poor kitty, she was so sick. She did come out of it though-oh and I remember her freaking out over a small statue I had then, she must have thought it was going to get her, she kept attacking it. Strange how plants can act as drugs to some critters and not others.

Since I am near Denver I am partial. Loved Vegas when we went though. I can see you wanting to visit with old friends too.

We had another nasty skunk last night just before we went to bed. I'm wondering if the fox youngsters are chasing them. Those fox are just spunky enough at their age that they might be silly enough to give chase. I've noticed them chasing each other a lot over there. DH would like to know what shrub killed those skunks? He's always interested in that type of thing with the cows and horses and stuff.

    Have a wonderful day!
