Hi Nic, you're welcome. Slow and steady is key. Prepare some plans in advance but then take it one day at a time, one meal at a time, one exercise period at a time. We can do this. We will probably have setbacks at times but the point is to just keep going. Get up and go on. :) I'll be posting more on my journey... if it's helpful, feel free to share your journey with me too! I'm here for you too! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Karen

Sweetheart, I do feel for you. I have had some significant losses -- only to be derailed by bad habits and late night stress eating during a very emotionally stressful time. This was after I thought my thinking and habits were fixed. Ha! I ended up gaining back 25 pounds. Now, I'm trying to do some damage control.

It is really hard not to beat yourself up during this process. But, I know (and so do you) that we need to be kind to ourselves and treat our own self as a treasured friend.

    So, baby steps...

    I'm here for you.

Hi Nic, I miss you, too! Thanks for stopping by my page. I'm trying to get my spark back, too. I was doing really good for awhile; then, had a setback in November and gained 25 pounds by the end of February! Working so hard to get it off; but really struggling. The kids are doing well. My oldest is finishing first grade and will be out for the summer, soon... the youngest is going to start preschool in the fall... time has flown by too fast!

Are you coming to Chicago anytime soon? Would love to see you!

OMG, Nic, being a mom is AMAZING! I had no idea! Every freakin' thing he does is amazing and awesome to us LOL I am awed every day how I love him more every. single. day. It's nuts! I swear I have no idea what I did with my life before -- except, you know, cook dinner at a reasonable time and see the occasional movie. :D

How are you?! Is Max in freakin' 1st grade already?!
