My Goals:
I want to look better than I've looked in years by the time I turn 40 in April 2010. I'd like to be wearing a size 10 by then and not be ashamed to be seen in shorts and a sleeveless shirt.

My Program:
In early 2007 I finally decided I'd had enough and was ready to change. I hired a personal trainer and, over the next 6 months, lost 31 pounds. Although I continued to work with a trainer for another year, my weight plateaued and I only lost an additional 7 - 9 pounds (bringing me to a total weight loss of 39 pounds).

I then completely lost my motivation and train of thought and quit going to the gym altogether for almost a year. I've gained back 13 pounds and lost all of my self-esteem.

Now that I've gotten a taste of what it's like to lose some weight and get in shape, I'm even more disgusted with myself than I was the first time around. I'm back to working with a trainer, and tracking my food and fitness here on Spark. Hopefully I'll get back on track in the next few months and be able to look good for my 40th birthday.

Other Information:
I'm the mother of two beautiful boys, one 15 and one 6. I love cooking and photography and would love to find a way to turn one (or both) hobbies into a source of income.

My favorite tv shows are The Office, Glee, Grey's Anatomy, and Desperate Housewives.
