I Finally Get It
I joined Sparkpeople on 1-3-09. After so many years of yo-yo dieting, I have finally realized that a permanent lifestyle change is necessary to be healthy and fit. I have a very supportive husband and a great sister-in-law, DELERIOUS64, who has motivated me and coached me over these last two years. I lost 23 pounds in 7 months and gradually put 7-8 back on during 2010. But I'm back on the wagon and ready to start training for my 2nd half marathon! Two years ago, the thought of running ...

I have a very supportive husband and a great sister-in-law, DELERIOUS64, who has motivated me and coached me over these last two years. Two years ago, the thought of running never entered my mind. I try to run in a race at least once a month because it keeps me motivated to do my best. The great feeling of accomplishment I get when crossing the finish line is something I'm looking forward to for many more years.
