Thank you for your comment on my blog post. So many people here don't spend any time on changing themselves. They change their diet, the amount of exercise they get, but they don't look inwards to try and find out how they got to where they are. You have spent your time introspectively, finding out who you are and why you got to where you were. The body changes will come because you have already been working on your mind, which is probably the biggest hurdle to overcome. If you watch the Biggest Loser, those folks drop tons of weight from the get go, but it takes weeks for them to confront their emotional problems, and that's with a trainer constantly on their case, trying to break them down so they can get them to finally see their issues and deal with them.
Thank you for your comment on my blog post. If you can't be honest and open in front of a group of non judgmental strangers that all have roughly the same goal, where can you be honest?? I use the word strangers only because I have never met any of the people on my friend list personally, but I do consider them all friends. (just wanted to clear up that word usage!)
And you are so right, the drama lets us know what relationships are no good for us, thus enabling us to rid ourselves of certain individuals from our lives.
I am glad to be able to motivate people with my words and actions. I have received a lot of encouragement and motivation myself here on SparkPeople so it's good to pass it on to others. 1337 days ago
