Small Victories = Big acomplishments

CONFESSIONS:

I got lazy, I over ate, I got depressed, I lost focus.... I gained 50 pounds in a year!!!

REALITY:

My joints hurt, my muscles ache, my headaches are back, I have no energy, I don't like how clothes fit, I feel unsexy...... If I'm not happy where I am, How can I be a good wife and mother?

7)Take 20 minutes of each day for just me

8) Try something new 1x per month

9) Get 7-9 hours of sleep each night

My name is Darrah. I am a 34 year old mother of 2. In my spare time I like to roller skate, dance at the local country bar, and do Karaoke.

At home you can often find me curled up with a good book, cleaning house, or tending my garden.

Other Information:
My favorite book is "The Mists of Avalon" I have tons of others I like but that one always holds up.

As far as movies go, my tastes are pretty diverse. I have a collection of close to 1600 movies between my VHS and my DVD's so I obviously like a wide variety :)

Thanks for the tips on eating while in transition. What i'm doing today is celery and fat free dressing. Apples, PB&J on wheat and I BBQed some salmon up on Tuesday so that will be lunch. Not sure about dinner yet but I should have room for something good though. I just have to stay away from Charley's. emoticon

Thanks for your comments on my blog. I really do try to analyze why I am here so that I can change the unhealthy habits into healthy (or at least neutral, LOL) habits.

Be good to yourself ma'am.
Don't get down by little things. Breath, have fun when you can, treat yourself at least twice a month, and Give Yourself permission.
Walk the mountains, walk the mall, and enjoy your life & those you love.
