No more settling for the Fat Life!!!!

I am a 32 year old nurse with a wonderful husband and 3 great children. Since having my daughter 11 years ago, I have slowly packed on the pounds. The same went for my last 2 children. With every child I packed on more and more weight. Now is the perfect time to get the pounds off. My kids are still fairly little, I am completely motivated and my husband is extremely supportive. I also would like to be healthier when I enter the RN program next spring. As an LPN I hated having to tell my obese ...

As an LPN I hated having to tell my obese diabetes patients that they needed to take care of themselves with diet and exercise, when I was unhealthy and obese myself. So here's to a new nurse and a new life.

My Program:
Walk- 60 min/ 6x's a week
Strength Training-30min/ 2 x's a week
Follow recommended nutrition plan
Drink 8-8oz glasses of H2O a day
Take Multivitamin every day








Personal Information:
I live in the Brainerd Lakes area. A beautiful place to be outdoors enjoying the view while getting in some Cardio. I am a LPN and am currently getting my RN. I love to fish, hike, bike and read. I love spending time with my husband. He is truly my Knight!!!

I totally understand what you are saying. As a Social Worker I often have to tell others who come to me for advice to exercise and eat better... and feel like such a hypocrite when I do. Now that I have started practicing what I preach, I think it will become much easier to motivate by example.
