Emily - getting seriously serious

I've always been a bit on the heavy side- topping off at around 155. I was down to 128 a year and half ago- before I moved in with my boyfriend. Now at 5'2" I'm up ten pounds to 138.

I've had a lot of false starts, but I'm hoping that joining a community will keep me inspired and dedicated to my goals.

When I lost about 25 pounds 3 years ago I did it all by myself and without even exercising, just by making better food choices. Living with someone makes those choices ...

When I lost about 25 pounds 3 years ago I did it all by myself and without even exercising, just by making better food choices. Living with someone makes those choices harder, but I know they're not impossible. More than anything I want to be healthy. I'm trying to focus on working out, toning up, and generally feeling good. My goal weight (I hope) will be for reference only. Mainly, I just want to be a healthier version of me.

Beer and cupcakes are my weaknesses. :)

My Goals:
1. Lose the weight I know I should lose. Min. of 10 pounds.

2. Don't freak out after that! Keep exercising, stay positive, eat healthy and see where it goes.

My Program:
Cardio 5 days a week.

Calisthenics 3 days a week. Crunches, sit ups, push ups.

1200-1500 calories a day. Lots of veggies, fruit, lean meat and fish. Trying to cut back on alcohol and other "empty" calories.

Personal Information:
NYC native. I love museums, photography, picnics, great wine and beer, archery, horseback riding, and the elliptical.
