I have a Polar RS400 heart rate monitor with the footpod. It connects to my shoe and sends data to the wrist unit about my pace and distance. It is pretty accurate--to about a tenth of a mile, but it bugs me because it eats batteries like crazy. A fresh battery tracks everything perfectly, but as it weakens, my pace will zero out several times during a run. And, of course, if my pace zeroes out, the calculator assumes I am standing still, so the distance comes up short. It drives me crazy! But other than that, it is a very cool tool and has added a lot to my running. 2788 days ago
