I have been looking on the boards and really like SP. I hope to get involved more. This is the most important thing in my life right now. I have a very supportive fiance of 8 years who has worked very hard to beat his own addictions. He is worried I will die an early death so I need all the support I can get.

Hi! Thanks so much for the kind message you left on my page! I'm so glad you see, through my experience, that it's possible at any age, to get fit and healthy. My greatest fear, as was yours, diabetes! My husband has it and I knew I was not far from it, but now I can say I'm the healthiest I've ever been and happiest too! Congrats on your 5+pound weight loss, that's an awesome start. Use it as a building block for future successes, and they will come! I'm adding you as my friend so we can keep in contact. Thanks again and continued success
Diane

Thank you so much for the comment on my page. It makes me so excited that my story inspired you. Weight loss is possible without the gastric bypass. If it's not for you then try it this way first. Sparkpeople is a great tool to help get you started. I wish you continued success. Just remember to believe in yourself and try to push through the negative thoughts. You can do this!!
