I am going to be a mother of a beautiful bride (insert emotion here) on Oct 12/13 and I want to lose weight before then.
My first goal is to lose just 5 lbs....just 5 lbs.
I can and will do this!
~ keep a food journal ~ drink more water ~ walk daily ~keep a daily devotional and prayer time ~ be positive and believe in myself that I CAN do this!
10 years ago I attended Weight Watchers and successfully lost 75 lbs. I felt amazing but somehow I lost my focus and gained the weight back. I developed a very painful back which required major surgery. In Oct 2012 I had a spinal fusion and haven't been very active since. I'm starting to feel like I could walk for exercise again. So here goes.....
I have truly been blessed with a husband of almost 34 years (what?? How did that happen?), 3 amazing kids, 2 of whom are married and 1 getting married in fall. Five beautiful grandchildren adorn our laps. I also have a shih tzu puppy. His name is Harley. Love the little dude to bits.
When I signed up it was around $40 a year and you got two dvds with it. That made it pretty affordable. Basically it has a short video most days to watch with good tips. I figure after deducting the cost of the videos it was pretty inexpensive.
My daughter's getting married Oct 14th of this year! I lost 30+ lbs this past year and am maintaining now for the wedding, so I'm sort-of with you there. I bought my mom of the bride outfit already and plan to not gain any weight back so it still looks good on the wedding day. :) Best of luck to you on your journey.
