I am strong in Jesus' name! I am winning this battle with Him!!!

I just turned 60 this January 2014. I'm married. I have two grown children, ( an update to this, My son that turned 35 Thanksgiving, 2015 passed away 3/21/16 from pancreatic cancer) I also have two beautiful grandchildren. I live in Staten Island NY. My children really encouraged me to change the path I've been going so I have decided to take a stand. That's why I joined SparkPeople. I want to live a long healthy life. I have physical challenges but will overcome in Jesus Name!

I Read this from another Persons SparkPage and really liked it:

I like: singing in chior and reading the Bible & reading about nutrition and health. I like making crafts. I enjoy target shooting and miniture golf. When I am fit I enjoy dancing. My main activity for now is going to the movies. I also like small doggies!

    Did you know that you can do squats over your toilet, using it for support for those with bad knees, even leg extensions or reach side to side stretching your arms. Just be sure to close the lid. What is so great about this you can do this any time you go into your bathroom at anytime to keep the movement going even in between clean ups. Keep a couple of hand weights in there and do a little strength training!! Need some time for yourself, hide out in your powder room. Do a little stretching and Keep on Moving!! emoticon emoticon
