So my theme this time -- hopefully the last time -- is about health, not weight. Weight loss is just one of the perks of getting healthy. I haven't decided yet how often to get on the scale. Until that decision is made, ...

I need to get myself healthy again, mind and body.

So my theme this time -- hopefully the last time -- is about health, not weight. Weight loss is just one of the perks of getting healthy. I haven't decided yet how often to get on the scale. Until that decision is made, I'm not jumping on -- to do so, in my mind, is to say that this is more about weight than overall health. I don't need a scale to tell me how I feel. That scale will merely be for tracking purposes; besides I don't think it's accurate anyway. What I see in the mirror is nothing but a work in progress. If I didn't have to look presentable for work and school every day, I'd take a before picture and throw all the mirrors out for the next few months so I'm not focused on what I see.

Next semester's schedule consists of two weekdays with absolutely no school or work, so I have a four-day weekend. These days I will have absolutely no excuse not to go for a walk in my neighborhood, which is quite pretty, btw. The other three are packed with school and work, so on the lightest day, Wednesday, if my study schedule allows, I'll do a quick
10-to15-minute cardio booster at different points throughout the day. If I understand correctly, it doesn't have to be done all at one time.

So that's the plan.

Monday is almost here plan for a good day. Think about how you are cooking. Are you using any processed foods? How are your portions? Are you eating salads or soup before you eat? One nice tip is to drink a glass of water before every meal and snack.
Plan, act, do.
