I'm a photographer and computer technician living in rural Alberta, Canada. I'm trying to be more of the former and less of the latter as I hate my main career as a PC repair tech. It makes me miserable, and I tend to console my misery by eating too much.

Something needs to change.

Oh dear, I didn't consider that. Grrr. I'm told that the "best" thing for someone with joint issues is an eliptical trainer. Can you look into joining a gym for access to one?

I just looked on YouTube for some step aerobics videos and watched a few. I think it's a "no-can-do" for me, considering my recent hip replacement with the other hip pending. It was a great idea though...maybe someday (sigh)

Sean, thanks for your great suggestion on my blog. I've heard of "step aerobics" but weren't positive what they were. I will definitely look into it. Thanks. Also is a great idea to use Amazon for cheap used videos.
