I am a married, retired, mother of 2, now taking the time to lose some additional weight for my Health. Goal is to come off diabetes pills & cholestrol meds! I lost 95 lbs a few years ago and I have gained back about 25-30... not good... tis time... as I refuse to buy larger clothes! I work 1 or 2 days a week in sales for extra fun $$ & to get out of the house. I need some big time motivation to return to water aerobics!
I used DW previously and had great results with tracking my food that way and made some Super Friends over the years.... . Old DW users may remember me as Netabuddie, Captain of the Cruise 2 Lose Chat Group from there.
#1. Come off sugar meds!
#2. Get more Exercise so I can firm things up as I go!
#3. Eat less white CARBS!
#4. Plan those meals and log those calories in the SP diary.
#5. Stop the grazing late at night!
#6. Drink that dreaded water!
#4. Finish the journey to get to my real goal weight!
#8. Go on a major shopping trip!
#9. Be able to go on a real cruise someday with alot of my buddy's that helped me along on this journey to celebrate.
Actually My Goals seem very related to my program???
Get moving, walking, whatever it takes to make this work! etc.
Plan & Eat more realisticly balanced meals. (instead of grazing).
Try harder to drink more water! yuck!
Watch those calories and be very aware what goes in my mouth!
I know what and how to do this, now I just need to stay mentally focused on the task at hand and DO IT!

My favorite things to do are computing, floating in pool, playing with my westie & cat. I enjoy doing crafts of all types...esp. painting or woodworking. I also enjoy seasonal gardening & being outdoors in general. I am a daylight savings time kinda gal !
p.s. I collect cookbooks.

Thank you for adding me as a friend. I have enjoyed meeting you and being onthe dibetic group with you. I have found that the people on SP are wonderful and have grown to appriciate each one I call friend very much! I know I"m not your buddy, but I hope to be!. I'm from the diabetic group, and I just wanted to say Welcome. I like your "images". Just don't show them on the board. There are people out there that like to report you because they don't have anything else to do. Anyhoo, we have a great group of people. We're very knowledgeable about our disease. And if we don't know something, we research it. We love to answer questions...ask us! I think you're a smart lady to recognize you have been making the wrong choices,and know that you need help.Congratulations on the weight you lost! You worked hard at it. Hey Neta.Glad to hear from you.Thanks for the add. I really enjoyed reading your page. A 95 lb weight loss is tremendous and you should pat yourself on the back for that sweetie. As far as the regain of 25, well darling that is just a minor setback, nothing you can't overcome. The best way that I have found to help me with the weight loss that I have achieved so far, that is different than all the rest of the times. I also deprived myself of things that I said were bad.This time I am determined not to do that. If I want a candy bar once a week or 2 then, I have one. if I want to eat a piece of regular bread, then i do that also. That way it hasnt really bothered me to not eat those foods much, because Im not going to tell myself that I cant have them.I am just careful of how many or how often I eat the "bad" things.As far as motivation, I have a BIG problem with that issue ,myself. I have really been trying on the water issue, i have had my 64 ozs for 2 days in a row now.This journey is going to be tough for me and everyone else, but I love this place to where I can come and just read the post from other people who are in the same position as I am in. That helps me so much to know that I have the support from others.
