2013 -
So far, so good! Been maintaining the success I've had but now.. Really want to push the rest of the way to make it to my goal weight. It sure is a long way from my all time high of 260 or even when I first signed up on sparkpeople in the 230's. I'm proud of my accomplishments and know I've got it in me to make it to my goal and get in the best shape of my life

2010...
I started down this journey once before thinking that the "ah ha" moment had hit me. I did well and lost 40 lbs at my lowest. It seems as though I've been going through these 6 month up and down cycles so my very first goal no matter how slowly it comes off ... Is to be able to look back once I reach my goal and say I stuck with it! Little ups and downs, good days and bad days... Sure, they're to be expected but to go 6 months without I'm caring about my body and health is not acceptable. Here's to never ending up back in the 230's again!

My Goals:
My ultimate goals are to weigh 135 lbs and run a 5k in under 30 min

^like 6 years old but still true :-)

New short term Goals:
Lose 38 lbs to get back to 180
Reduce body fat to 28%
Stick to eating plan
Run an 11 min mile
All by 10/1/14



My Program:
I eat clean and healthy real food.. kind of primal/paleo based but with my own modifications to make it a suitable lifestyle change for myself.

My current excercise program is running, some group classes here and there and strength training.

I wanted to tell you thank you. You encouraged me a while back. A year or more ago and I was so frustrated at the time from all of the work i was putting in with no results, i was not as diligent in keeping up with my spark activities like saying thank you or entering my data in the counters. I was keeping them in a journal, but i wanted to be sure you knew your post on my wall helped me push through and not give up in defeat. I am very sorry it took me so many months to realize I had never properly thanked you. KEEP ON MOVING FORWARD YOU ARE DOING GREAT!
