maintaining healthiness on my journey with Jesus

Hi, my name is cheryl and i love spark people. This wonderful community has helped me get back to a healthier weight, and shown me that i can age with grace instead of settling for the ongoing weight gain that seemed to have become a part of my getting older. Praise God for spark people. I feel so much better, a little lighter and a lot healthier.

Cheryl, thank you for visiting my blog and sharing your story of forgiveness also. It really wasn't hard because I knew the whole time the perpetrator was here God was guiding me as to what to do. God's plan is so perfect. If you would have told me an hour before he showed up that I was going to forgive him in person AND give him a hug I would've told you that you were nuts. He apologized also and bawled his eyes out. I can't believe the peace I feel. I always used to wonder why the abuse happened and now I believe that if I can share my story and help someone else then it was worth it. We can use our past hurts for God's glory.
