Wikipedian has a very long article on Japanese toilet culture - very good, actually. The first time I went to a hotel toilet and the lid lifted automatically, I nearly jumped out of my skin, I thought that particular stall had its own ghost LOL.

Yes, I had a friend in the US who wanted a toto with the urine analysis function. I don't think that function has taken off yet.

Advertisers are indeed wily and that old book was about "subliminal" ads, as I recall. But gotta say, I'm pretty good at resisting other types of ads, resolutely frugal and anti-consumerist (that's probably why we had a 40 year old bed!!) It's the ads which prey on food addiction that can derail me fastest if I permit it!!

    Thanks for your comment

No they are not 100% accurate and they only give about 10% But The problem is with SP not the device. The Garmin is only a rough guide but SP was 100's of % out.

I don't want 100% accurate but I would like it somewhere near to what I do and the Garmin is ok for me.

I have a cheep pedometer and that logs every step, The Fitbit and I am sure The Garmin and the Apple don't. The good thing is that they log to the computer and put everything in one place.

    Have a good week
