Since joining SparkPeople, I have become slimmer and healthier -- in spite of major surgery in January 2010. I am able to do much more than before and feel better.

I am the mother of 6 gifts from God, 3 boys -- Jason, Richard and Bryan --and 3 girls -- Kristen, Catherine, and Jessica. One of my sons is presently in the military (Air Force), one got out of the Navy and went to graduate school and got his Master's degree in biology and is now here in WA state deconstructing a ship, and the third has finished his college course work to become a psychologist. He is now an officer in the Army. My oldest daughter is a paralegal, my second daughter is an R.N., and the youngest is employed by the DOL.

I have eight grandchildren, a girl Paige and a boy Isaac, an adorable boy named Keith Bryan, a grandson named Dylan, a grandson named Trent, a girl Isabella Noelle, then Brady, and an infant named Eric.

I also am the crazy cat and dog lady. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs.

God is my rock and my strength.

I've been wondering the same thing Nellie. Tim's schedule is crazy right now and I hate making him give up his time home in the evening doing math with Isaac, but it might be worth the effort just to see if it makes the daytime go smoother. He is fine with me for all the other subjects. Please pray while I really pray this one through myself!

I definitely need the change in pace tomorrow. Tim spent 2 hours with Isaac on his math tonight and Isaac treats his dad so much differently. Makes me so sad. He will easily ask his dad for help and doesn't fight him when things are incorrect. I told Tim I don't understand the difference... if I finally can get him to ask for help he doesn't accept it. When he checks his work and finds a mistake he gets mad. With his dad he would ask for help. Maybe Tim needs to be his teacher!

Nellie I hope you enjoy your misfit I hope we get them soon. As far as the pet pad odor use bleach diluted with water so it won't effect your rug color but will take away the odor and wash with that ... Try a color fast area first to be safe. **Hugs*
