It has been a hectic couple of years year. It brought a lot of new things in my life and took many things away from me. Some of the losses were long awaited, others I still mourne. All of them had a role to play in an inner change that I have come to cherish.

To put a long story short within the last two years I got a new job and then went back to my old job as a freelance translator. I almost broke myself down with work overload and now I'm learning how to say no to extra work. I cherish my free time and enjoy it a lot more than before.

In my personal life I had come very close to despair. The despair that I will never find someone and start a family. Then against all hope and logic I found love in the most ulikely guy. It was a relationship full of promise that fell apart in a very painful way. It brought down my walls, it tore me to pieces, made me face truths about myself that I had been denying forever. It burned me to the ground and against all odds left me full of hope, stronger that before and with an unexpected gift of understanding, motivation and love that I had never though I would feel. And then when it was over, it started all over again with another guy and another set of lessons to learn.

I have been on SparkPeople for 7 years with varying success until I hit an all time high in my weight in the spring of 2013. 110 kilos which is more that 240 lb. This time around I am putting an end to the diet rollercoaster. I've set goals that matter to me on a personal level and I've stopped rushing things. It's about becoming fit and feeling happy in my own skin. Not about losing weight or getting somebody elses approval. I'm learning to do this for me and to not give up. So I'm still here and pushing.

My Goals:
I would love to get to 80 kg or about 175 lb. Someday. For now though, I'm aiming at 90 kg (198 lb) for my birthday on Auguts 28th 2014.

But my main goal is to just stay in the game and keep moving in the right direction. Enjoy the ups and overcome the downs while getting fitter.


My Program:
I watch my calories keep in check where they come from.

I do strength training 3-4 times a week and dance. Lately I've been doing salsa classes 4-5 days a week. But that is for fun rather than fitness.



Personal Information:
I'm Bulgarian Living in Sofia Bulgaria. My job keeps me glued infront of a computer screen during the day and my second job as a freelance translator does the same from time to time. I try to make the rest of the time count as much as possible.
