Getting Back on Track through Consistency

Hi everybody.

I'm a married mommy of two boys (a 4- and 2-year old) in Maryland. I'm on a fitness journey to lose weight gained from my baby boy, along with weight I was trying to lose before we had kids. Over the past two years I lost about 40 pounds of the total 49 I gained from the last pregnancy (Thank God!) by running on the treadmill, a little strength training, and some intermittent Turbo Fire here and there. But at the end of 2011 I've experienced a lot of personal and work ...
Hi everybody.

I'm a married mommy of two boys (a 4- and 2-year old) in Maryland. I'm on a fitness journey to lose weight gained from my baby boy, along with weight I was trying to lose before we had kids. Over the past two years I lost about 40 pounds of the total 49 I gained from the last pregnancy (Thank God!) by running on the treadmill, a little strength training, and some intermittent Turbo Fire here and there. But at the end of 2011 I've experienced a lot of personal and work stress. Nothing traumatic, thank God, but I haven't adjusted well and I've gained back 13 pounds due to emotional eating!!

I've made great progress overall, but I've lacked consistency over the last several months - losing and gaining the same 5-7 pounds.
The last time I considered myself successful at weight loss I was consistent, and I had more patience, and I wasn't so eager to see results. Even if I had a setback, it was one meal instead of two weeks of leaving my weight loss nutrition regimen. I'm determined to get that consistency and patience back!

I'm determined to get it back in gear by committing to the Turbo Fire, strength training, and a low-carb nutrition plan. I've found great encouragement from the wonderful Sparkies and I hope to stick with it and return the favor.

LET'S GO ALL THE WAAAAAAAYYYY !!

Thaks girl and yes I know I shouldn't worry about that number but it is hard not to. But I know what to do and I have a strong plan in place for April. So hopefully they will post an April challenge too.
