Shrub Roses from my husband's farm. Original plants are over 50 years old.

My favorite flower! They have to be since I am from Kansas and I love Yellow!!

I love the way the Red Zinna color reflects onto the Painted Butterfly, adding to its orange color.

Hi! I've just posted my first two photos for the assignment "Shoes." I am taking photos of shoes that the program participants (and possibly the staff as well) wear to work. It's been a lot of fun for all!

I have also added you as a friend, if that's okay with you!

Hi! Thanks for the welcome--I seem to be getting multiple welcomes from teams! All I have right now to take photos with is the camera on my cellphone. I used to use a Nikon many years ago when I worked in publishing. Now, for the most part, I take photos to use as memory enhancers for my program participants. I then email them to myself and we look at them as a group at work!

Hello Jo. Thank you for the welcome to your group! emoticon

The weather has warmed up quite a bit for us in Western part of Canada. So everything is coming out of the ground early. May long weekend is our time to plant, but it sure looks like we can start earlier. I will be around your group to check in to see what's growing in other members gardens, and I'll share what's growing in mine.
