The only way I am going to get the "better I Deserve" is to work at it bit by bit. Struggles are part of life and clear sailing isn't always the best thing for us so right now I am just going to Keep Pushing Forward!

While my spark start date says 2006, I actually didn't start using Spark regularly until 2010. At that point I was almost a year into my journey to just reach my wedding weight again. I started that journey 7/1/2009 and never expected it to take this long to lose 41 lbs. I have had several set backs but 2013 will be the year that I break through that number. Hormones have played a big role in this battle for me so I hope if I get back to counting carbs again regularly that I will be able to blast through that barrier and keep pushing forward.

Thanks for the lentil recipe! I ended up just making up a pot of lentils and adding what flavors I liked! I did carmelize some onions and it really does taste amazing! Hope you have a fabulous Tuesday! emoticon

Thanks! It was a pretty good day overall, but I'm EXHAUSTED now. No, the "cupcakes" aren't really a recipe at all, haha. I had leftover dr. pepper pulled pork from a few weeks ago, rolled out some crescent rounds into a muffin tin, stuffed in the pulled pork, baked them off and topped with bbq sauce! Thank you for your input on fitness trackers. I have seen a website that caught my eye called "walking4fun" that you can track your steps and it will show pictures of what you would see along the way...I guess that's called a virtual walk. I need all the motivation I can get and I love to travel. However, I'm on a very limited budget and don't want to huy something that's difficult to use but if it will help me in my quest to be a healthier me, it will be a great investment.
