I will be a slip of a thing.

I'm crazy. I'm a ballet dancer who wants to get out of the corps de ballet, and be a principal. The thing holding me back? My weight. The reason my weight isn't changing? I binge. And don't purge... at all(luckily enough!). A 152 lb ballet dancer is not what most people expect when they go to see the ballet. They want someone lean and toned and beautiful. I don't currently fit that profile.
My journey actually started a few years ago, with it becoming more and more prominent in the past ...

My journey actually started a few years ago, with it becoming more and more prominent in the past year. I used to hover around 130, and remember promising myself (after seeing terrible pics of myself) that I would never get over 140... That diet failed, leaving me weighing 145. Then came the two piece tutus, causing myself to join a gym, but only get down to 140 before the show. UGH! I was hopping mad, and managed by Nutcracker time to get back to 130, by using intermittent fasting, however, I felt like I had a huge eating disorder the entire time, so that went out the window. I managed to stay in the 130's for the next show, however, then we had a huge horrible break, no class, no rehearsal, and I creeped up to 150. The largest I've ever been. I fasted for a week before the next show, getting down to 135, but broke the fast badly, and am now back to 150. I want to at least get back to 130 by Nutcracker, and probably 118-120 by Sleeping Beauty, on Valentine's day. I can and I will do it!

No, I don't have any recent pictures... And I don't really want any. They make me depressed, and undermine my general positive attitude. :P

Stop binge eating

Become a principal dancer.

Run in a 5K race... eventually.

My Program:
1200-1400 calories/day

Reduce (possibly eliminate) bread/grains, replace with fruit/veggies

Stop boredom eating by watching a movie. :)

New DVD for every 7 days without a binge.

Dance... and Dance... and Dance

Have you still been doing the C25k sessions? They are tough to start but your body will get used to the workouts really quickly. Hope you are well!
