Recharged - keeps going.. going.. going..

Hi!! (not so new, but haven't been on SparkPeople in years)

Have had too many excuses for not making my goals - albeit partially valid - i.e. pcos, thyroid..whatever... I still have to lose weight. I've been doing a pretty good job of it on my own so far. thought I would come back here for some support. I injured my knees, so have been nursing them via physical therapy. So far so good! Can't wait to get back to good health - yoga, hiking, biking, etc. Was so active, and been ...

My Goals:
My goal is to be healthy, and lose weight steadily. This is new lifestyle change, and I'm excited to stick with it for the long haul!

My Program:
Monday - Sunday: walk daily 20 mins/day
weights 3/week
personal trainer - 1/week

Following Eat to Live Program: no oil, no dairy, no meat (I'm vegetarian anyhow though), no caffeine, sugar/artificial sweeteners. Lots of greens (cooked/fresh), vegetables, and fruits

Personal Information:
Lover of animals, nature, music, arts, travel, culture, languages. The list goes on.

Other Information:
I love languages, reading books - Paulo Coelho, James Patterson, Anita Desai, Iris Johansen, John Grisham, K. Gibran, Jean Sasson, books like Kite Runner, Memoirs of a Geisha, ..the list goes on. I love music next to oxygen. play the piano (self-taught - so still make a lot of mistakes!), sing (as a hobby), paint, draw, photography, and yes.. I love puzzles too!
