Ready to be Serious and Committed

Hi everyone, I turned 60 this year and quickly gained 10 more pounds. When, I turned 40 I started gaining a little bit of weight and knew I needed to eat better and exercise more. Well that didn't happen and then came 50 and again I had put on some pounds and of course I was still not eating better or exercising. Oh my, I was doing great for so long following this site every day and then I for some reason other things got my attention instead. Five years have passed and I'm still far from losing any weight. I did start walking again this spring and that made me feel a little bit in power. I'm going to try again and will make this site a daily visit to try and stay on track and slowly lose these pounds.

My Goals:
Lose 30 pounds in 10 pound increments.

Exercise more.

Had some Heart issues, need to work back up to walking 1-2 miles each day I walk.

Get to walking 3 miles each day I walk by the April 2011.

Eat healthier.

Drink a glass of water each hour.

Log data into the Nutrition and Fitness Trackers each day.

My Program:
Using the tools on the site to track what I'm eating and how much I'm exercising.

Other Information:
I enjoy my friends, dog, reading, video games and watching movies.
