Hi everyone, I turned 60 this year and quickly gained 10 more pounds. When, I turned 40 I started gaining a little bit of weight and knew I needed to eat better and exercise more. Well that didn't happen and then came 50 and again I had put on some pounds and of course I was still not eating better or exercising. So, the Big 60 was a wake-up call and I know with what little I've seen on this site, I will now lose the 30 pounds I don't want. I will become a healthier eater and make exercise a part of my life style.

Oh my, I was doing great for so long following this site every day and then I for some reason other things got my attention instead. Five years have passed and I'm still far from losing any weight. I did start walking again this spring and that made me feel a little bit in power. I'm going to try again and will make this site a daily visit to try and stay on track and slowly lose these pounds.

Well, here I am again and I am grateful for this site since I was having trouble with my heart and found out that I have High BP and High Cholesterol. Now, I'm on two BP meds and a med to help me lower my Cholesterol. I'm a bit overwhelmed and came back to this site to receive help with my diet. I'm not a good eater but with the help of logging my food and having help with the sites suggestions for meals, I feel that someone is holding my hand to help make this change in my eating habits. I'm not a pill taker so I really would love to eliminate some of these pills with time.

My Goals:
Lose 30 pounds in 10 pound increments.

Exercise more.

Had some Heart issues, need to work back up to walking 1-2 miles each day I walk.

Get to walking 3 miles each day I walk by the April 2011.

Eat healthier.

Drink a glass of water each hour.

Log data into the Nutrition and Fitness Trackers each day.
