Ready to feel good

My name is Nicole I just had a daughter in January. My goal is to loose the baby weight first and then go onto going beyond what i weighed before pregnancy. I love food and I usually turn to it because I'm bored or depressed. I'm ready to put myself out there and feel good again, not only for me but for my family as well.

My Goals:
I was born with a nose cleff so all of my childhood was spent in depression when it came to my self esteem. I didn't consider myself "fat" before I had my daughter but since then i've really let myself go. I find every excuse in the book to not exercise and eat like a pig. I guess you can say this is the point where i say NO and I think by being honest and open I can change my lifestyle for good for me and my family.

My Program:
My main goals are:

To stop putting myself down

To eat less and more healthy

To exercise at least 4 to 5 times a week

To drink water whenever possible and stop snacking!!!

Personal Information:
I live in Medford OR, and would love to find a group of other mommies out there who are trying to lose weight too.

Other Information:
It all starts today and if for some reason i fall off the wagon i can always get back on!

Is Gwen teething? I'm sorry you're not getting much time for you (or much sleep)! Hang in there! :)

Thanks for the words of encouragement! I needed that! :) I have the 30 Day Shred video and have pros and cons to it:
Pros: good workout for only 20 minutes; you feel your endurance increase each day if you do a workout a day; clothes fit better as I got into the program
Cons: made me super sore; level 3 was VERY tough...I couldn't do it and had to go back to level 2; didn't lose any weight in the time I did it (I think I did 17 days in a row before I started running and went to doing the 30 Day Shred when I don't feel like running).

Overall, I'm glad I have it and do use it, just not on an everyday basis! :) Hope that helps!

I don't, no. Only because my 'baby' isn't so much a baby anymore. She's 10 and a half and trying to make me prematurely gray!!! *laughs*

Don't get me wrong, I love her dearly but she's the one you always need your eye on. She's fearless and outgoing and the center of attention *laughs*

She's my bug

How funny, there are a lot of Nicole's aren't they? Do you by chance go onto baby center? There is a whole group of us January mamas on there you should check it out.
