Getting back after baby...

Hi! I'm Christi. I'm 6'3" and 32 years old. My husband and I live in NE Ohio.

After working hard and getting down to my goal before getting pregnant, I'm now working twice as hard (or it seems like it anyway!) to get back there post-partum. I ended up gaining quite a bit more during my first pregnancy than I'd hoped (85 lbs to be exact), but I'm really anxious to get back where I was!

As a way to keep myself focused and working hard I've signed up for my first half ...

My Goals:
Overall, I want to get back to my healthy weight range (anything under 200 lbs) and I want to get back into shape!

Ideally I'd like to make it back to the 100s by my son's second birthday - October 28.

My Program:
1. track my foods

2. follow my half marathon training program (run 4x/week)

3. strength train 2-3 times/week

Other Information:
I love music, movies, photography, musicals, plays - pretty much anything related to the arts. I was an English major in college, so I think that's where it started - getting involved with all of those liberal arts folks was a lot of fun.

I also love watching football - especially when either Notre Dame or the Colts are on.

Hey there! Thanks for the comment on my blog. I was feeling soooo down this morning. I have increased my calories, but SP still has me at 1200-1550 intake even though I'm burning 4k a week. I think I may start paying more attention to my calorie differential...trying to keep it close to 750-1000 per day. I think by doing that it will help me eat enough on my HIGH burn days...I'm afraid that's where I'm going wrong (I think). And I started batch cooking and last time I tried some really new meals...so yeah, I've been changing up my food. And, I DID take my measurements today...but I think I may take them again tomorrow. I was so frustrated with the NO loss that I think I may have been wishfully thinking with my measurements, although it only showed .75" for the week. Thank you again for your kind words. It really means a lot to me. emoticon

Just noticed you gave me a goodie. It might have been a long time ago, I am not sure. I finally figured out how to set my settings so I get notified when somebody leaves a goodie. Anyhow just wanted to say thank you and hope you are doing well.
