This time I'll do it!

I have finally reached that point in my life where I've internalized the importance of being fit and healthy. I'm nearing retirement and I want to be able to enjoy it! I know this will be a long process and there are no quick fixes. I'm currently in the LEARN program at my place of work, and I may have to go through it twice, but I will not give up.

Oil pulling: putting a tablespoon of coconut oil into your mouth and swishing it for 20 minutes. Kills unhealthy bacteria that would otherwise enter your system. Very healthy for your mouth and body and brightens teeth, heals gums, freshens breath. Look it up on Youtube if interested.

Hi, Carol! Thank you for your support on my blog. I'm not so much mad per se, I'm just seeing the results of 2 years of struggle and what it can do to one's body...YUCK! LOL

I'm still kind to myself and easing back into a new routine. In fact I might take a nap in a few. That's rare if ever.

You're a jewel!

How are you doing BTW? I hope you are doing well. Time for an update blog perhaps?

Hope you have a relaxing day and a break from job stress, Carol. Lots of us can relate to "2 steps forward, 1 step back."

SweetJane: I live in Mandan, ND, and I also joined a "photog meet up group" to do the same as you. My next big purchase is a DSLR, currently just have a point and shoot. I feel like SUCH an amateur. Used to do pretty well with my 35mm film camera.
