I have spent most of my adult life in pretty decent shape-I work out and try to eat right. However, after I gave birth to my daughter the weight did not come off as quickly as it had with my son!!! I spent the first year of her life eating the way I had before-only I wasn't losing weight. I was maintaining. Not good when you have 30 pounds to lose. In 2008, I decided to take a different approach....I had two goals every day drink 8 glasses of water and workout for 30 minutes. By doing that, the weight started coming off and I was almost back to my old self. However, life got in the way, between working, traveling, etc, the weight came back on. But at least I knew that I could lose it, if I was really committed. So I got back on the wagon and after about 4 weeks, I am starting to see progress. I love Spark because it rewards me for progress. I love seeing how many minutes I have worked out in a week and my calorie intake and the points I earn.....

My Goals:
I have the following goals for myself:
-Walk my way to 140
-Spin/row my way to 130
-Run my way to 125.


My Program:
I have found a meal plan that works and I stick to it, about 1200 calories a day!

To ensure that I get my water, I carry around a bottle and set my watch alarm for every 5 minutes. When it goes off, I take a sip. I usually get my water in by the end of the day at work.

As for exercise, I either walk outside or on the treadmill with an incline.
