Living life & loving it!
This is a day for celebration! I HAVE ACHIEVED MY GOAL WEIGHT! Unbelievable & incredible. A day I never believed I would live to see & yet here I am. Is the journey over? Probably not. Now I think about losing a few more pounds, just for looks sake. I'm at the high end of the weight bracket I want to be in, so I will probably press on for a little more progress. It's funny for me to think about..but now there will be people who have only known me thin. They will be ...
This is a day for celebration! I HAVE ACHIEVED MY GOAL WEIGHT! Unbelievable & incredible. A day I never believed I would live to see & yet here I am. Is the journey over? Probably not. Now I think about losing a few more pounds, just for looks sake. I'm at the high end of the weight bracket I want to be in, so I will probably press on for a little more progress. It's funny for me to think about..but now there will be people who have only known me thin. They will be surprised to find out I ever carried that extra 65 pounds & laugh when they see pictures. That is a far cry from hearing someone say with pity in their voice "oh, you were so pretty" when they look at my youthful thin pictures. Talking to my 18 year old son, he asked if I felt different. Yes, in many ways. Mostly though, in the way I deal with food & eating. I no longer belong to the 'clean your plate club', but rather the 'I can save this & eat it another day club'. I really prefer this club. Pushing myself from the table has always been an issue...now I don't have to...I've learned to stop eating because I just don't need it. I wish everyone success in their weight loss endeavors! I hope each of you can one day announce...I DID IT!!!

My Goals:
To be healthier. I have learned that weight is a number & I am terrific no matter what that number is! But I want to feel better, more energized, better equipped to face life every day...in fact looking forward to waking up each morning instead of finding it a drudgery!
My Program:
Mostly, it's paying attention. I make sure that I get out & walk several times everyday. The dog really enjoys this because he gets to go with me. The second thing I do is to be mindful of what & how much I am eating. I don't think I ever realized what a 1/2 cup serving really was! LOL
Personal Information:
I was born & raised in Columbus, Ohio. After leaving Columbus, I moved several times living in Whitehall, Ohio, Dublin, Ohio, Bradenton, Florida, Russell's Point, Ohio & finally settling in Delaware, Ohio for 17 years. This, ultimately is where I put on all my weight.
Other Information:
I am married to the most wonderful man that God ever created. He ADORES me...whether I'm my goal weight or 200 lbs over that. I couldn't have hoped for a more supportive spouse!
