starting anew with great expectations

I'm 75 years old. Now weigh 134 (with clothes on at gym). Struggling to get down to about 120 pounds.

Not putting pictures on - think that might be a bad idea.
Write some poetry - want to write some short stories.

I've never entered a page on the computer like this before.

Don't know yet what else I might post here.
Glad to be with Sparkpeople - great site - and it is free -
a real boon for me, I love it.!!

Thanks for your comments - 10000 steps is almost 5 miles a day - I really don't hit every day, but I make a real effort to hit it every day and I know I'm moving a whole lot more than I used to! I'll look forward to hearing/reading about your progress!
